CARMICHEL/RUGER COLLECTION
The Carmichel/Ruger Collection is one of the most comprehensive collections of Ruger firearms and accessories ever assembled, a collection all the more unique because there are 55 handguns, rifles and shotguns bearing the unique No.13 serial number. The collection also includes a cased, glass-topped suite of 8 Case/Ruger folding pocket knives, each bearing the unique No. 13 serial number. Also included is serial number 13 of the Limited Edition of the Ruger “Red Barn” mug. Included in the collection are other rare and highly desirable Ruger memorabilia such as the Ruger pistol tie clasp with working slide, still in its original box, a “robbed from Bill Ruger” Zippo lighter and other rare Ruger items.
The crown piece of the Ruger collection is an original burgee from Bill Ruger’s yacht, Titania. One of only two known to exist it bears the distinctive red eagle on white background. This swallow tail pendant was actually flown on the Titania with the tips being somewhat frazzled due to fluttering at sea. The burgee was presented to Carmichel by Bill Ruger himself and includes photographs of the burgee flying over the Titania and pictures of Bill Ruger on board the yacht.

Each specimen is new in the original box and contained in an outer shipping box addressed to Jim Carmichel, a provenance making collection all the more valuable.

RUGER SHOTGUN NO. 13 COLLECTION
The Carmichel/Ruger shotgun collection is especially notable in that it contains one of the very few single barrel Trap guns with engraving and the unique “unfired” barrels. The production run was probably less than 100 before it was discontinued. Also included in the collection is the now discontinued Ruger Gold Label side-by-side shotgun. New and unfired in original boxes.
